Library

The mission of the Saint Rose School Library is to inspire life-long reading and promote learning through the use of informational resources.

In addition to developing an appreciation for quality literature, the students learn library skills, research methods and are encouraged to become effective users of ideas and information. The librarian works to meet the informational needs of each individual student.

Library Hours

Saint Rose students in PreKindergarten through eighth grade have regularly scheduled library classes. The library is open to Saint Rose students from 7:30 A.M. to 8:00 A.M. Monday through Thursday in addition to their scheduled class time.

Accelerated Reader Program

This independent reading program is offered to students in second through eighth grade. Saint Rose’s A.R. program is web based and offers over 100,000 comprehension and vocabulary quizzes.

Students, with the help of teachers, set quarterly accelerated reader goals which help promote a desire to read and strengthen comprehension.
