My name is Sr. Mary Emily and I hail from the Buckeye State! I also come from a very big family and love spending time with my nieces and nephews. Some of my favorite things to do are hiking and enjoying the outdoors, along with gardening and picnicking. This year I look forward to my new hobby of learning the ukulele from some of our very own St. Rose students!
I have had much experience in Catholic Education and love teaching 2nd grade! My favorite part about it is the privilege of forming our young people in the faith and preparing them for their sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.
I entered the Congregation of St. Cecilia in the year 1993 after graduating from Franciscan University with a degree in Elementary and Special Education and spending a year with N.E.T. Ministries. I also have a M.Ed. in Catholic School Administration and Supervision and will complete a Masters degree in Theology from St. Charles Borromeo Seminary this coming summer. For eight years I had the joy of serving as Vocation Director for our community. I am so happy to now have joined the Saint Rose School Community ~ what a beautiful school and parish family!
