I began teaching at Saint Rose in 2009 in the preschool (I substituted the year prior). After a year in the preschool, I began teaching kindergarteners.
I have a degree in Speech Language Pathology and I am currently working on my Masters in Elementary Education.
I have two children that graduated from Saint Rose. Shelby a freshman at Belmont. She plays golf, volleyball, guitar, flute, piano and is currently learning to play the violin. Zachary is a freshman at Father Ryan Highs school and loves to play basketball, golf, swim, and plays the electric guitar and saxophone. I love to golf, read, spend time with my children and my family.
My favorite memory at Saint Rose is every year on the first day of school seeing the children return after the summer break. I love to see how much they have grown. I love feeling the excitement of a new year and all the new memories to make. My other favorite memory is when Pope Francis was named as our pope. The students and teachers all gathered in the gym and I can still hear the church bells ringing and the emotional reaction from the children was amazing. The bonus was that I was able to share it with my own two children as well as our school family.
