I moved to Murfreesboro the summer of 2017 from Dallas Texas. I have been married for 18 years. My husband Trey and I have a 10 year old daughter Sarah who is in 5th grade and a 5 year old son Eli who is in Kindergarten, both at Saint Rose.
I received an Associates Degree in Child Development in 1996 and began working with children placed in foster care and foster group homes. During that time I began a degree in computer science hoping to one day teach technology to low income and at risk youth, however instead it lead to a career in Software Engineering for 10 years until Sarah was born, I then became a stay at home mom and once she was ready for preschool I dove back into teaching and working with children ages 2 - 4. I had my son Eli in 2013 and took some time off but again once he was ready for Pre-School I could not wait to get back to teaching and worked in our Parish's Pre-School program within the Dallas Diocese. It really is the best job in the world, it is fun and I take great joy in playing, singing, building with and teaching this age group.
